St Patricks Day

I've often wondered why St Patricks Day is so much bigger over here in the USofA than in Ireland. Listening to the radio this morning and 34,000,000 americans claim irish decent. That's over 8 times the number of people that actually live in Ireland. So hardly a surprise that the parties are bigger over here.
