At your age!

I was just looking at Madonna's Myspace page. She gets a lot of comments like "you look good for yr age" and "wow, I hope I look that good when I'm your age." Is it just me, or are these backhanded compliments? "Wow you look great, considering you've just been hit by a bus." It's not a compliment if it's conditional.

Maybe it's because I'm getting older and don't really want a comment like "You look good for a 37 year old." Just tell me I look Hot! You see where I'm coming from? You know where I'm going to? ENGLAND AND IRELAND Buster! See you in a few weeks.
